Persons with disabilities in Kazakhstan: employment and job placement problem

A round-table meeting devoted to the problems of employment and job placement of persons with disabilities in the light of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities will be hold in Astana on 9 October.

On 9-10 October the interactive seminar on electoral law for students of Almaty universities is to be held in Al-Farabi Kazakh National University

The aim of the seminar is the active involvement of students in the social and political processes that take place in our country, through the training on the electoral law.

Mr David Moran has been appointed Her Majesty's Ambassador to the Republic of Kazakhstan and Non-Resident Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic in succession to Mr Paul Brummell who will be transferring to another Diplomatic Service appointment. Mr Moran will take up his appointment during December 2009.
