If you have lost your passport and need to get a replacement this can be arranged through the Consular Section of the British Embassy in Almaty.

Immediately inform the Consular Section about the incident, this will reduce the risk of someone stealing your identity or attempting to enter the UK on your passport.

When you apply for a replacement passport you will need to provide the following documents.

a) A certificate of loss - If you have lost your passport you must report this loss to the police immediately and obtain this certificate

b) LS01 form - this form came into effect from 8 December 2003. All applicants who need a replacement passport must complete this document.

c) The relevant passport application form
